I don’t understand Tina Fey and Tracy Morgan’s relationship
Compare this, from last April:
In a pretty genuinely touching moment, Tracy Morgan lost his composure when asked about his 30 Rock boss Tina Fey on the Oprah Winfrey Show today. “She’s my friend. I love her,” he said. “She understood that I knew who I was. Where everybody else [said]: ‘Oh, he don’t know. His whole career is chance.’ And she understood that I was making choices. I was making choices on TV. And she not only would write things, she would just encourage me.”
Unlike Tracy Jordan, Tracy Morgan has never taken Tina Fey to a strip club. “Dude, Tina Fey is a middle-aged white woman with kids and her husband,” he said in response to an audience member’s question. “We work together, and that’s it. She has her friends, and I have mine. When they say, ‘Cut,’ she go home to take care of her husband and her daughter, and I go to the strip club.”
Hmm, different!
I was going to end by clarifying that I don’t spend all my time thinking about this, but if we’re being honest, this is pretty much what I spend my time thinking about.
