Certified good movie
If the name Kiarostami makes you think “boring part of sophomore-year film class,” let me tell you something: either you have gotten wiser since college (possible) or he has gotten less boring (very possible). Either way: GO SEE CERTIFIED COPY. Especially if you like it when movies are taut and masterful.

That stupid cat
Liz: i have a theory that anyone who likes to travel a lot is someone who is comfortable with change.
Lesley: [...]
Liz: it's not that great of a theory
Lesley: it's a reasonable theory! i wouldn't call it genius.
Liz: it's no e=mc2
Lesley: but it's definitely better than schrodinger's cat.

Some Wikipedia Facts about Michael Crichton
1. By his own account, he was approximately 6 feet 9 inches (2.06 meters) tall in 1997 2. At Harvard he developed the belief that all diseases, including heart attacks, are direct effects of a patient’s state of mind. He later wrote: “We cause our diseases. We are directly responsible for any illness that happens to us.” Eventually he came to believe in auras, spoon bending,...

CELERY IS NOT A PIG-OUT FOOD YOU MONSTER WOMAN Which is funnier: the fact that Michele Bachmann’s favorite song is “Taking Care of Business,” or the fact that she was so quick to the draw with that answer? “I definitely have a favorite song, and it’s definitely ‘Taking Care of Business’.”

I don't understand Tina Fey and Tracy Morgan's...
Compare this, from last April: In a pretty genuinely touching moment, Tracy Morgan lost his composure when asked about his 30 Rock boss Tina Fey on the Oprah Winfrey Show today. “She’s my friend. I love her,” he said. “She understood that I knew who I was. Where everybody else [said]: ‘Oh, he don’t know. His whole career is chance.’ And she understood that I was making choices. I...
